TECHFORGE is a 2-day technical challenge hosted at Vel Tech Multi Tech Dr. Rangarajan Dr. Sakunthala Engineering College where you Analyze, Build, Adapt & Defend. Solve a real-world problem, develop your solution, and face a surprise technical challenge that will test your coding, problem-solving, and innovation skills.
Convert requirements into practical system architecture, normalized database schemas, API specs, and user workflows.
Build a working core application with persistent database storage, role-based workflows, and defensive validation. (Day 1 total: 100 Marks — Qualifying teams advance to Day 2).
Extend your existing codebase with live data stream ingestion, dynamic priority calculation, and duplicate/anomaly detection.
Live system stress testing under competition conditions, demonstration, and technical viva cross-examination before jury.
GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and modern AI developer tools are 100% permitted throughout the hackathon.
All participants must bring their own laptops and chargers. High-speed campus Wi-Fi and power strips will be provided.
₹20,000 total cash prize pool, trophies for top teams, and official participation certificates for everyone.
